What an amazing show! A huge thanks for hosting ShoutOUT opening night for the show and the after-party!

Cinderella TweetSeatThis version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella tale was simply magical. An incredible cast, set, and musical production. The humor sprinkled throughout the show was an unexpected, but wonderful surprise. Thoroughly enjoyed! I think this is now one of my favorite Broadway shows.

Though I’m still not quite sure what kind of giant bug Prince Topher (a.k.a. Prince Charming) fought in the opening scene, I was still captivated. And I’m still blown away by how they magically transformed Cinderella from her tattered clothes into those ball gowns RIGHT IN FRONT OF OUR EYES! I was like, “Wait. What just happened?!” I’m serious. She didn’t exit stage-right. She didn’t disappear behind a door or wall. There was just a quick movement and POOF! She was suddenly standing there, donned in her elegant, sparkly white gown for the ball and later, her gorgeous golden ball gown for the background. If you blinked, you missed it.

Cinderella Play BillIf you were wondering whether or not to go see it either with friends or with your, do not hesitate. GO! The set, décor, choreography, costumes, cast, seamless change in sets and costume, were all mesmerizing. Plus, seeing all the little girls dressed up in their Cinderella gowns was just too precious for words.

The Cinderella Broadway Tour is at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa now through July 8, 2018, with Tampa being the last leg of the production’s tour this year. For more info on the show and how to purchase tickets, visit the Straz’s website.
